About Avonturia de Vogelkelder
Avonturia de Vogelkelder is the largest and most adventurous pet store in the BeNeLux. With a wide range of pet supplies, a range of exotic animals and a unique experience for our visitors, we are known for our excellent service and expertise. Our store is a place where customers find inspiration, get advice and discover a wide range of animals and products. In addition to the extensive shopping experience Avonturia also a mini-zoo Mappa Mundia, a wonderful world where young and old can explore with a world map in hand. There is an attractive restaurant for our visitors who want to take a break from their experiences Avonturia's Kitchen where you can enjoy 'All over the World' dishes.
In addition to the physical store Avonturia about an extensive webshop with more than 15.000 products! There is also the Avonturia B2B, which supplies products to retailers and distributors at home and abroad. The range is very diverse and contains various brands, including our own brand Back Zoo Nature. We send our products all over the world from our wholesaler in The Hague.

What are you going to do?
Welcome to our kitchen team! As a kitchen employee you are a true all-rounder and you experience every day differently. Your day is full of varied tasks and responsibilities.
Welcoming and serving guests: You are the first point of contact for our guests and ensure that they feel immediately at home. You take their orders and provide friendly and fast service.
Preparing dishes and drinks: In our kitchen you will prepare various dishes and drinks. From cutting fresh vegetables to making our famous all over the world fries and other delicacies, you ensure that everything is fresh and tasty.
Keeping the work area neat and clean: Hygiene and cleanliness are our top priority. You ensure that the kitchen and restaurant always look tip-top. After a busy day, you and your colleagues clean everything and prepare it for the next day.
Checkout operations: In addition to kitchen duties, you also help at the cash register. You ensure accurate payment processing and help guests with any questions.
Contribute to a pleasant atmosphere: Together with your team, you ensure a cozy and hospitable atmosphere in the restaurant. Your friendliness and energy make the difference for our guests.
What we expect from you:
- Available during the week and 1 day on the weekend.
- 24 -32 hours per week.
- Hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Customer friendly: You are enthusiastic and know how to make every customer leave with a smile.
- Stress-resistant: You can keep an overview in busy situations and make the right decisions.
